FAQ

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Postage costs are calculated by weight. All UK orders are sent Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For and typically arrive within 2–3 working days. International orders arrive within 5–7 working days.


TIAR is a made-to-order, one-woman brand. Please allow approximately 30 working days for manufacture, this does not include delivery. During busy periods, lead times may be extended; up-to-date information is always posted on @shoptiar_.


Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your tracking details. Please allow 1–2 days for tracking to activate. Once a tracking number has been issued, we are unable to take responsibility for parcels in transit.

Address amendments can be made, but only via email.

 

COMMUNICATION

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 5 working days. As a one woman business we kindly ask that your communication remains respectful and you do not contact us for an order update before the 30 working day manufacture time has passed, as your order will still be in progress and the slows down wait times.

PRIORITY ORDERS

If you need an item by a specific date, priority dispatch may be available at an additional cost. This must be confirmed with us before placing your order and noted on the order itself, we cannot be held liable for late arrivals if this has not been arranged in advance. Orders placed for specific dates without prior confirmation are non-refundable.

 

CUSTOMS & INTERNATIONAL ORDERS 

International orders may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. Please check your country’s regulations before purchasing.


US orders are sent Delivery Duty Paid (DDP), meaning all customs charges are settled at checkout which means no surprise fees on delivery.


If an order is returned to us due to unpaid customs fees or non-collection, the customer is responsible for return postage costs. A payment link will be sent before the parcel is reshipped. As all items are made to order, refunds cannot be issued for unclaimed packages or refusal to pay customs charges.

 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES 

As a made-to-order business, we are unable to accept returns for a refund. However, we’re happy to offer: 

Exchanges for a different size or item of similar value
Store credit if you’d like more time to decide

This policy does not apply to sale items.


All returns must be made within 14 days of receipt, with items unworn and in their original condition.


We don’t include a returns slip (no paper waste), simply send us a message on Instagram for the returns address. Please include your order details inside the package so we can locate your order; we cannot be held responsible if this information is missing.


Return postage is covered by TIAR only in the case of a product fault. Costs are not covered for change of mind or customer error, including any international shipping or applicable taxes. In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at orders.shoptiar@gmail.com with photos and any relevant information so we can resolve this for you as quickly as possible.


Orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once fabric has been ordered or cutting has begun, typically within the first few days of the order being placed.

 

CARE

Handwashing is always best, but a cold machine wash works fine for most pieces. Tumble drying is not recommended for any items. Cotton and denim can be ironed on a low heat setting. Some items have more specific care requirements, so be sure to check the individual listing before washing.
